Hybrid Heat Pumps

Hybrid Heat Pumps are an efficient and cost-effective way to heat and cool your home or business, especially in colder climates like Ontario. They work by using electricity to transfer heat between the inside and outside of your building.

During the winter, the heat pump pulls heat from the outdoor air and transfers it indoors to warm your space. Even when the outside temperature drops below freezing, there is still heat energy in the air that the heat pump can extract and use to keep your home comfortable. In the summer, the process is reversed, and the heat pump removes heat from inside your home and transfers it outside to keep your space cool.

One of the benefits of using a Hybrid Heat pump in Ontario is that it is highly efficient, even when the temperature drops below freezing. Unlike traditional heating systems that only burn fuel to create heat, a heat pump simply transfers existing heat, so it uses less energy to maintain a comfortable temperature in your home or business. However, due to extreme cold weather our hybrid system will consume natural gas to heat your home when required. When temperatures rise the unit will operate the heat pump. This means that you can use it all year round, making it a great investment in your comfort and energy savings.

Overall, Hybrid Heat Pumps are a great choice for customers in Guelph who are looking for an efficient and cost-effective way to heat and cool their homes or businesses in a cold weather environment.

The Government of Ontario is Currently offering grants to switch to a hybrid heat pump system. Contact us for details.
